OptaPure® 7199 is an APE and formaldehyde-free styrene-acrylic binder for use in light industrial maintenance coatings, including direct-to-metal applications. It offers the flexibility of good performance in both topcoats and primers, plus paint performance that generally meets or exceeds existing commercial products in this class.
