A family-owned business since its founding, OPC Polymers offers extensive product knowledge based on generations of experience, a thorough understanding of customer challenges and solutions, and operational flexibility.
Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, OPC Polymers is a key manufacturer of coatings resins through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth. Today, OPC Polymers is the leading manufacturer of monomer-modified alkyds for the paint and coatings markets and one of the top North American suppliers of resins for the coatings industry.
OPC Polymers is proud of our polymer research and development capabilities and has earned a reputation for quality control, product information, application support, and innovative new polymers. The company is certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard for its quality management system.

As a result, we offer one of the most complete lines of high-solids, HAPs-free (Hazardous Air Pollutants), and exempt-solvent products in the industry.
Our alkyd technology is based on domestically grown vegetable oils and typically contain 30%-50% renewable resources. OPC Polymers has developed new products that are completely solvent-free, use high-content bio-based chemistry, or are based entirely on renewable resources. Our water-based product line provides customers with a lower VOC alternative for many coatings applications.
